Update on Projects…

I finished the third Act today in my TV pilot Cole Maddux – C.I.A.. This is definitely a show that would air on HBO or Showtime. Before all is said and done, this could easily turn into a feature but would be shot in segments like a web series. I plan to cast it this month as well as cast my feature Lone Viking.

The budget for Lone Viking has been tallied up at $300,000.

Lone Viking Executive Project Summary

It will be SAG which costs more but is very beneficial to my actors as it ensures them health benefits, FICA and a higher weekly salary. I have a few creative solutions in mind to help us get the budget if we do not get funding.

I met with Alexis Evelyn and Cole Stroud for a screen test today.

I have them in mind for a few roles in Cole Maddux as well as roles for future films. They did an improv scene which was very dramatic and looks awesome. I wrote a short for them months ago after they auditioned for me when we were casting Watching, Catharsis and The One. They’re both talented,  work well together, and the footage from the shoot today looks great.

Friday I meet with Stephanie Gerard who plays Julia in Cole Maddux – C.I.A.

She was at the same audition with Alexis and Cole and left a huge  impression. I wrote the character of Julia with her in mind, and I’m excited to see her take on the role along with Lars Slind to bring my story to life. I also wrote the character of Cole with Lars in mind.

Lars is also attached to out feature Lone Viking as the viking. As actors attach to my feature and projects, I will be focusing my efforts to promote them. Not only is it beneficial to their careers, but it also helps bring attention to our projects.  We are currently producing  “LARS: The Life & Times of a Hollywood Supermodel”. There is still a ton of footage to shoot for the special, and it’s going to look incredible once it’s complete. I believe this special will help bring some well deserved attention to Lars who also played the lead in our short film Harley.

As we cast our projects, I will be updating the blog with the latest details. Just this past weekend we shot Watching and Catharsis before that. The last of the three shorts we plan to shoot is called The One. One of our leads got a role in a Netflix series soon after casting which has delayed the project. It also made me rethink the film, and I’ve decided to promote the project to a feature. As it is LGBT, I hope it will bring attention to the community and the problems we face as bisexuals and homosexuals when it comes to equal rights and family acceptance. The One will never be shot as a short film as I will be developing the project into a feature film sometime over this next year.

Currently I am writing Baywood Lane and developing another feature about a father and his daughter called Hudley Square. Both features have a very bright future!
