This week has been so busy. I’ve got a lot of writing done, including another short last night. This one is about baseball practice, and it’s really funny. The dad character is a hoot. I’ve also got a lot of reading done. I find myself talking to my characters in my head often which is a really wonderful thing for a writer. Trying to fit in all this work has one drawback. No sleep. I’ve had less than 8 hours in the past two days, and I’m exhausted. My plan is to rest and work in some downtime this weekend which always leads to bursts of creativity.
