When inspiration strikes, I listen. I’m writing a serial killer crime drama at the moment. It’s about twenty pages, and I’m expecting it will grow as I revise it. I’ve always loved studying serial killers and would read books on them ever since I was in high school. I took a few criminology courses in college trying to understand the mind of a psychopath. There are some very informative websites online that document cases and the psychology of a killer that I find an absolutely fascinating study.

I already have the cast in mind. Some actors who submitted to former projects inspired me merely by their head shots. It’s more of a web series than a short film. The investigative team are two characters that are really funny and have a lot of chemistry, which offsets some of the darker elements to the serial killer drama, giving it a good balance. I could see them take on several cases in the future, making this a reoccurring series. I will be playing one of the detectives, and I have an actor in mind for the other investigator who has an impressive reel.
