We secured our location to shoot Rome 444. FINALLY! It’s been an extensive search that has led me to some very expensive places. You need a big budget to rent any place in this town. Now that we have a place that was actually somewhat affordable, I am so relieved. It was getting to the point where I thought we might have to delay it or just cancel it all together, which was very upsetting since I am very excited to shoot it. We have a fabulous cast, and it’s a great story. The costumes are on the way. I wanted to get the costumes made, but we just don’t have the time. The ones I picked out look perfect for the period with all the research I’ve done into costumes. We have a read through coming up next week at the Roosevelt hotel lounge. It’s a dark room and will really set the mood. Now we need to book our sound person and do some shot lists and pre-visualization planning. Since Brad will be at work, this will be his chance to put in the shots he wants me to get during production. I will be busy next week checking out the location, planning and obtaining a few props and set dressing. We are on our way!
