I showed Brad the top contenders for Rome 444 last night. We are casting three characters. A man, a woman, and a young girl. He agreed with my choices, and I’ve made my final decision on the cast.  I will be calling the actors tomorrow to let them know.

Brad minored in Roman history, so he did a rewrite on the scenes last night to give them more of an authentic feel. I talked to a studio today where I might be shooting the scenes. I need to take a trip to see it this week. We’re also going to need costumes for these scenes since it’s set in Rome in the year 444BC. It’s going to be really cool to direct a period piece, and I’m so excited for this shoot!!

We also heard back from a fellow filmmaker who got an early copy of Justine and Barry to view. He said it was a “cute, funny film” which made me very happy to hear! I absolutely love the way the story turned out, and I am so proud of my cast!
