With all our projects in development, I’ve had to hold several casting sessions. Yesterday, I was at it again. We had a wonderful turnout, and I was surprised at how fast the day flew by because so many people came in to read. I feel confident that I’ve found my cast. I will be reviewing tapes this weekend and contacting the actors next week. I also held rehearsals with Nick Denbeigh who plays Cole’s best friend from the war.

He’s perfect for the part of Chester Dirk, a Navy SEAL turned CIA with a past that would break anyone’s heart. He grew up in foster homes that were abusive until the age of fourteen when he  was adopted by a Navy family and experienced love and security for the first time.

Brad finished his revisions for Cole Maddux episode one, and I am doing my revision pass now. My goal is to go through the script, tighten it up and cut off the fat. It’s a difficult thing to do cause I love my characters and could hear them talk for hours, but it must be done.
