Today was a hectic day. We are juggling several projects at the moment from Playground, to Parallax, to my feature Pieces in Bloom. I am on the final story now, and then will begin the budget. The more I look into SAG, the more the budget swells, but the cost could be offset by investors and product placement. I’ve been doing a lot of research on both, and it’s truly the only way to grow your business into something much bigger. Kick-starter can only get you so far unless you have a star attached. If we could get that, then we may go that route. I’ll know more once I do the budget. My Producer to Producer book is an incredible guide in this arena. The budget forms are for large million dollar productions, but it will give me a good idea of what to expect to budget for in our future projects as we continue to grow.
